Why Am I / Why Are You So Rich? Wealth Askfirmations

What If Your Brain Already Knows You're Rich?

Most affirmations tell you what to believe. Askfirmations ask your brain to find the proof. Instead of saying "I am rich," you ask "Why am I so rich?" — and your subconscious mind goes to work searching for the answer. This is the power of the askfirmation method, and it works while you sleep.

This audio loops a series of wealth and abundance askfirmations, spoken in a soft ASMR whisper, layered over gentle ambient music. We have two versions — one in the first person ("Why am I so rich?") and one in the second person ("Why are you so rich?") — so you can choose the one that lands best for you, or use both.

Both versions are on YouTube → Watch on YouTube

What Are Askfirmations?

Askfirmations were popularized by author Noah St. John, who noticed that the brain responds powerfully to questions. When you make a statement like "I am wealthy," your mind may resist it if it doesn't yet believe it. But when you ask "Why am I so wealthy?" your brain automatically searches for reasons — and finds them. Over time, this rewires your default thinking around money and abundance.

The practice draws on the same principles found in Joseph Murphy's The Power of Your Subconscious Mind — that the subconscious accepts what it is repeatedly given, especially during the hypnagogic state just before sleep.

First Person vs. Second Person — Which Should You Use?

The first-person version ("Why am I so rich?") puts you in the driver's seat. You are the one asking, and your own subconscious mind is the one answering. It's active and empowering.

The second-person version ("Why are you so rich?") feels more like receiving a truth from someone who already sees you as wealthy. Many listeners find it easier to accept a belief when it comes from outside themselves — it bypasses the inner critic in a different way.

Try both and notice which one you feel more in your body. There is no wrong answer.
