Ho'oponopono Spring Edition: Ancient Hawaiian Healing for Renewal, Release & New Beginnings

Ho'oponopono Spring Edition: Ancient Hawaiian Healing for Renewal, Release & New Beginnings

A spring practice for release and renewal

Spring is the season of letting go. Of opening windows, clearing space, and allowing something new to take root. And of all the practices I have returned to again and again, Ho’oponopono feels the most natural this time of year.

Ho’oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness. At its heart are four simple phrases:

  • I’m sorry.
  • Please forgive me.
  • Thank you.
  • I love you.

That’s it. No complicated technique. No visualization required. Just these four phrases, repeated with sincerity, allowed to do their quiet work.

What is Ho’oponopono?

The word Ho’oponopono (pronounced ho-oh-POH-no-POH-no) comes from the Hawaiian words ho’o (to make) and pono (right). To make right, twice over. It is traditionally a practice of restoring harmony — within yourself, between you and others, and between you and the universe.

Modern teachers like Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len have brought Ho’oponopono to wider audiences, teaching that by taking responsibility for our inner world and offering these phrases sincerely, we can release old patterns, heal relationships, and restore peace.

You don’t need to believe any particular thing for it to work. You simply offer the phrases — to yourself, to the universe, to whoever or whatever comes to mind — and allow.

Why spring?

Spring is a natural time for this practice. The energy of the season supports release — old leaves falling away, roots loosening, new growth pushing through. When we align our inner practice with the season, something shifts more easily.

This Ho’oponopono Spring Edition is designed specifically for that energy. The four sections of the affirmation loop — Release and Forgiveness, Gratitude and Love, Renewal and New Beginnings, Peace and Healing — mirror the arc of a spring day, from the quiet of early morning to the settled warmth of evening.

About the 528Hz frequency

This audio is tuned to 528Hz, one of the Solfeggio frequencies often associated with love, healing, and what some researchers have called DNA repair. Whether or not you follow the science, most listeners simply notice that it feels warm. Gentle. Like something the body recognises.

528Hz pairs beautifully with Ho’oponopono — both carry that quality of deep, unhurried love.

How to use this audio

  • Play it as you fall asleep — the 8-hour loop means it runs all night
  • Use soft headphones or a Bluetooth speaker at low volume
  • You don’t need to repeat the words or focus on them — simply let them drift through
  • Listen for 21 consecutive nights for the deepest results
  • It can also be played softly in the background during the day

Who this is for

This recording is for anyone who is ready to:

  • Release old hurts and patterns that have been carried too long
  • Offer forgiveness — to others, and to themselves
  • Begin a new season with a lighter, clearer heart
  • Experience spring as an inner event, not just an outer one

It is intentionally gentle, gender-neutral, and accessible to all.

The four sacred phrases

If you’d like to begin right now, here they are. You can say them silently, aloud, or simply read them and feel what arises.

I’m sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.

That is the whole practice. The audio simply holds the space for these phrases to work through the night.
